First of all, since my last entry, this country has been dealing with the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina that has walloped the Gulf Coast. All I have heard on the radio for the last two weeks is about New Orleans. ( And I am sad to say that although there has been some about Mississippi and Alabama, no where near as much. I know that New Orleans seems to have the most tragic of the refugee situations, but the folks in Mississippi and Alabama also got socked pretty hard, their lives have been trashed, and they should not be forgotten.)
