Back in the basement... with another entry in the journal of Walter the Frankenstein monster.
I was watching the news tonight; an odd occurrence to begin with. I really hate the fucking news. First, of all they never have anything worthwhile to talk about. Second, when they do, they never bother going into a decent amount of detail. Third, when they finally get to the damn story that you want to hear about, you have waited through a half an hour of crap and commercials, only to find a two second spot with no detail. You're almost better looking the story up on the Net.
So I did.
Yes. I appears that in Teslin, Yukon, some people believe that they saw Big Foot last weekend.
When I was a kid, I read every damn book that I could get my hands on about the old BF; Nessie too. I was hooked. I really believed that, somewhere out there, the Sasquatch roamed the wildernesses of Western North America.
But now... well, I guess I'm not so sure.
In fact, I think that was these people saw was not not a Sasquatch, a Yeti, a Big Foot, or any other name for this possible myth (not to be confused with the Jackalope, which is real).
I think they saw Walter.
Maybe it was Chauncey or maybe another Frankenstein Monster. But in my heart, I think it was Walter.
Of the two, Chauncey was a little dim, if you catch my drift. He had a brain, but I never felt it was fully functioning. Now, I know that Jerry would smack me upside the head and defend Chauncey until he ran out of breath, but that is just his prejudice as Chauncey's maker.
Anyway....
I really think that it was Walter. I have no evidence. I have nothing I can offer as proof. But neither do these people, yet. Some scientist is going to run a DNA test on the hair sample they found. We shall see. I bet you it came off of something Walter was wearing. He was tall and would probably be wearing furs in that climate. In the middle of the summer, it only makes sense that he would be up north where it is cooler.
I hope it was him. But I hope no one finds him. I would hate to think what might happen if he was found. I will keep you all posted if I find out anything.
